The Mount Lofty Kindergym is a community based, volunteer driven play space for 0-5 year olds. We have been running for 36 years and counting! Located in Uraidla, SA, at the Uraidla Show Hall during terms 2 and 3, and the Uraidla Institute in terms 1 and 4. No booking required.

Families Growing Together help South Australian families by empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to connect and grow together. This helps them lay strong foundations for their children and young people. All workshops are free, in relaxed and informal settings, and can be presented face-to-face or online.
Ready Steady Go Kids is Australia’s largest multi-sport program for 1.5 – 6 year olds. Designed by paediatric occupational and physiotherapists, the program is designed to introduce preschoolers to the fundamentals of 10 different sports (soccer, tennis, basketball, hockey, golf, AFL, rugby, athletics, cricket and T-ball) and incorporates ‘soft skills’ such as team work, listening and social skills.
Movement is crucial for a child’s development. KinderGym provides opportunities for all young children, regardless of physical ability or impairment, to explore and develop fundamental movement skills at their own rate and take risks in a safe and fun environment. It’s about providing experiences that positively influence a child’s outlook on physical activity for life.
The Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia run playgroups for families of linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds. There is a Multicultural Playgroup for all language groups, and one specifically for Korean speakers. Children with disabilities are welcome! MCCSA want all multicultural children in South Australia to have the best possible start in life and for parents to feel supported.
Creative Therapy Adelaide’s mission is to help all people access the benefits of being creative. We offer creative, research-informed, and strengths-based services in our music therapy, speech therapy and early childhood groups. We work collaboratively to nurture individual capabilities, kick goals and realise the creative potential in each unique person.
Paint the Town REaD works to overcome this by motivating communities across Australia to read with their children so they’re ready to learn to read at school. They partner with local agencies  to form Paint the Town REaD groups in their communities. Each group organises its own year-round reading events and thinks about encouraging their community to read in eveything they do.
Parenting SA is a state government run program that provides quality information to parents raising children from birth to 18 years. Resources include Parent Easy Guides, videos, and free parenting seminars, with many specifically developed for Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse families. Information is evidence based and aims to support parents and caregivers in their role.
