Are you ready to embark on a musical adventure with your little ones? Welcome to Shake It Up! – an engaging developmental music group tailored for parents and children aged 0-5 years, proudly brought to you in collaboration with Creative Therapy Adelaide and the Burnside City Council.
At Shake It Up!, we believe in the awesomeness of music to nurture busy bodies, big hearts, and creative minds. Led by allied health professionals, such as Registered Music Therapists, our sessions are designed to target key developmental areas including motor skills, communication skills, early literacy and numeracy, social and emotional skills, and more.
Here’s what you can expect from Shake It Up!:
Inclusive Environment: We warmly welcome all children, regardless of their abilities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and thrive.
Interactive Sessions: Each session follows a consistent format, combining music, movement, and play to engage both parents and children in a fun and meaningful way.
Parent Education: In addition to supporting your child’s development during the sessions, parents will receive valuable education on how to incorporate music effectively into their daily routines at home.
Live Music Experience: Our program facilitators are skilled musicians who utilise live acoustic guitar to create a dynamic and immersive musical environment for families to enjoy.
